Cleaning lavatory tiles reveals gray lines. What's happening?

I not long ago changed to a latest apartment. The lavatory tiles were radiant white. However, a initial time we spotless them, unexpected darker gray streaks appeared in a tile — in pointless spiderweb patterns, seeking a lot similar to cracks which had been someway filled in. Scrubbing with a powder cleaner similar to Comet suggested a lines slowly, though a dash of rubbing off ethanol suggested them instantly.

Are these remade cracks? Did my property owner do something to a tiles to censor these flaws? Is this value angry about?

The grey lines have been ugly. Can we get them behind to which white state as well as still purify them?
